Alleycat anyone?

A few folks have asked about organizing an alleycat. Drop me a line if you're interested in any of the following: 1)planning, 2)organizing, 3)volunteering and 4)racing.
Remember, without some people willing to do the first three items on the list, no one gets to do the last thing on the list.

Let's start with a route. Something hard, but not too hard, but not too easy either.
How long should it be? I'll throw out a 10 mile distance for a starting point of that debate.

isn't the point of an alleycat not to have a route? each rider decides their own route based on the manifest that they are given, right?
anyway i would be down to help out.

atown-you're dead on. This first one is still in the early planning stage, but will probably end up a three stop coffee shop run with one stop in Homewood, one in downtown B'ham and one in Crestwood with the start/finish at BBC. The stops are required, but the route and order are up to the rider.
Thanks for the offer to help out- what's the best way to contact you?
